Hands on help while your family transitions
I am excited to serve you and your family during the transition of bringing home your new arrival! This can look many ways depending on your family’s needs during the “fourth trimester” aka the first twelve weeks after bringing home your newborn. We will work closely together to make sure that I am providing support where needed. My goal is to work myself out of a job by giving you education/training, time to bond with your baby, and time to allow your body to rest and recuperate. I am so happy that I get to be a small part of setting you up for success to being a happy and healthy family for the years ahead.

I cannot give enough praise to this amazing woman. Time with Jeannie was crucial for the adjustment period of bringing a new baby into the family. We couldn’t have done it without her! Definitely planning on contacting her for help once again if we end up having another baby in the future. Between her extensive training in the field and her personal experience of raising 5 kids of her own, she has incredible knowledge of babies and children. She also has many connections and recommendations for contacts in the postpartum and child care industry.
She helped me make a plan each day for what I wanted to achieve, which was usually just a shower and a nap. While I slept, she took care of the baby but also did laundry, cooked, cleaned, and even helped with dog!
I’m very grateful for the few weeks of time I had her help.
THANK YOU!!

Jeannie is a ray of sunshine during those hazy postpartum days! She fit in seamlessly with our family from the second she walked into our house. She is attentive, on-time, caring, compassionate and a ball of positive energy. Whether it was to hold the baby while I napped or help out with some light household chores, Jeannie was always there for us. We cannot thank Jeannie enough.
Ps. Ask about her delicious Peanut Butter Energy Ball Recipe. 😊 -

A postpartum doula was something that I never knew was an option. The night my husband and I met Jeannie and had a conversation with her, we walked away knowing that hiring her was something that was a no-brainer. She is there to make the transition to postpartum and healing a priority in your home. There are such huge changes, whether you are a first time parent or you've done this 5 times already. She is there to help; cooking, cleaning, tidying, laundry, watching the kids, tending to your precious baby and helping mama heal to name a few.
Hiring Jeannie was the best thing we could have done for ourselves. I was able to take the time I needed to heal because we had more help in our home. There was such a peace knowing that certain things would be taken care of that my husband or I didn't need to worry about so that we could focus on the important things. (Mama's - that means healing for you). I loved that I was able to really connect with our new baby and rest. Once our time with Jeannie was up, my husband and I were sad to see her go but we know with confidence that we will be hiring her again should we have more children and would recommend her to anyone.
Hiring Jeannie as a postpartum doula is the best gift you could give someone or the best gift you could give yourself!

From the moment my family welcomed our little bundle of joy into the world, Jeannie, our postpartum doula, became an indispensable part of our lives. Her unwavering support, compassion, and expertise truly made our transition into parenthood smoother and more enjoyable than we ever imagined.
Jeannie's warm and nurturing presence instantly put us at ease. She approached every interaction with genuine care and empathy, creating a safe space where we felt comfortable sharing our joys, fears, and uncertainties. Her reassuring demeanor helped alleviate any anxieties we had as new parents, allowing us to fully embrace the magical journey of raising our newborn.
One of Jeannie's greatest strengths is her wealth of knowledge and experience. From breastfeeding techniques to soothing newborns' cries, she provided invaluable guidance and practical tips that empowered us to navigate the challenges of parenthood with confidence. Her expertise extended beyond the immediate postpartum period, as she offered valuable advice on establishing healthy routines and fostering a nurturing environment for our growing family.
What truly sets Jeannie apart is her personalized approach to care. She took the time to understand our unique needs and preferences, tailoring her support to ensure it aligned perfectly with our family dynamics. Whether it was assisting with household chores, preparing nourishing meals, or simply lending a listening ear, Jeannie went above and beyond to anticipate and fulfill our every need. -

I did not plan on having a post partum doula, and only booked Jeannie after we got home with our newborn daughter and realized we would need a lot more support than we'd planned. I was unexpectedly on bedrest, which put the burden of caring for our older daughter, me, and our house all on my husband. Jeannie swept in and provided much needed relief--taking care of me, holding the baby, cooking meals, folding laundry, etc. She also provided sweet little touches for our oldest daughter, like braiding her hair and making her bed to help her feel special in this chaotic time. We also had Jeannie do an overnight with the baby to get some much needed rest. Jeannie was a GEM to work with and have in our home.
My only regret is that we didn't book her sooner for longer. Run, don't walk, to book Jeannie before her schedule fills up. You won't regret it.
